Just yesterday, Chance the Rapper performed Blessings, a gospel track from his most recent project Coloring Book, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. With guests, of course. The Rapper received help from Ty Dolla $ign, Anthony Hamilton, D.R.A.M., Raury, and an entire gospel choir along with the Social Experiment team.
The performance clip has been circulating Twitter and Instagram nonstop, but I never watched because to be truthful I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular. On the contrary, the group served all sorts of carefree black-ness; the kind that brings a smile to your face and makes you think out loud what a blessing it is to be black.
