In an effort to share my daily adventure (and mischief) with the Soul Culture family, I created a video series entitled Big World, Little Bria. Big World will showcase my travel experiences, meet-ups with my favorite Soul Culture-feature artists, and day-to-day cultural encounters that occur right here in the Midwest.
It’s only fitting that the first episode captures a visit to a very special city – my hometown, Indianapolis, Indiana. In this vlog, I visit Indy for the grand opening of Naptown Thrift, a vintage store that I’ve frequented for years, but that previously held its home in an off-lying storage unit in South Broad Ripple. Now, its owner musician and play-nephew Double A has opened an official storefront stocked full with vintage grails, rare collectibles and neatly embroidered originals.
